- There are five steps to this felting process -1. Design and cut paper to size, 2. Lightly needle felt with a barbed needle to tack roving to Artfelt paper, 3. saturate the piece with water, 4. Cover with plastic roll up & tumble in dryer 5. Rinse with boiling water to dissolve Artfelt Paper.
