- Rich and vivid shades of greens & yellows sparkle and shimmer giving the wool a depth and almost a 3-D quality.
• Mica Chips, a natural rock that has been cut in very thin layers and Angelina were incased under a very thin layer of silk gauze in the felting process, adding a lot of bling and sparkle.
• 100% Merino Wool and 100% silk were felted together forming one hightly textured fabric.
• The sleeves are silk gauze with cotton polka-dots, the polka-dots are also carried onto the body of the jacket.
• To show the sheerness of the silk gauze, the sleeves were not felted but are made as one piece and the body was felted, then the sleeves were gathered to form the sleeves.
• Topstitiching around the edges adds a suttle decorative detail.
• The buttons are made from the same fabric and added in a vertical fashion to add a slimming effect.
• The inspiration for this piece was the celebration of spring greens, dazzeling in the sun.
• Looking at this jacket makes you smile, it has a fun funky feeling, yet very comfortable to wear.
• Hand wash, roll in a large terry towel, then lay flat to dry. Press if desired using a press cloth.
